Friends Forever Quilting Together

Rate this book
Friends comfort us in troubled times and help us celebrate the good times. Friendships provide precious memories that can be stitched into a quilt. Having gathered over 20 years of quilting friends, we decided to celebrate them with this book, a treasury of friendship quilts. We designed big quilts, small quilts, bright quilts, muted quilts, and yes, even a "teach a friend to quilt" quilt. We suggest scrap and block exchanges to share with groups of friends. Sprinkled throughout are quotes about friends and friendships that might just prompt a memory that in turn will inspire a quilt for a treasured friend. Offering an assortment of styles and skill levels, this group of 20 quilts and wall hangings is a collections you will come back to again and again. Included are several quick and easy small projects that are perfect for last-minute gifts. As Billie Holiday said, "If I don't have friends, I ain't got nothing." Celebrate your friends--make a quilt!
