Italian surgeon Alessandro Lombardi had it all—distinguished career, newborn heir, beautiful wife. But that life is gone forever now, and he and his little boy have come to Australia to start over.
Things start looking up when bubbly nanny and E.R. nurse Natalie Davies and her mischievous kitten move in! They put the smile back on his son's sad face, and Natalie ignites a flame in Alessandro's deeply guarded heart.
Nat hides her own heartache behind her twinkling eyes, but she's already fallen for Alessandro's little boy, and she knows she's in danger of tripping head over heels for a man who has sworn never to love again.
Amy is an award-winning, USA Today best-selling Aussie author who has written eighty-five contemporary romances in both the traditional and digital markets.
Her books bring all the feels from sass, quirk and laughter to emotional grit and panty-melting heat.
She loves good books and great booze although she'll take mediocre booze if there's nothing else. For many, many years she was a registered nurse which means she knows things. Anatomical things. And she’s not afraid to use them!
She recently took a sea change and lives by the ocean with her husband of 33 years.
The reason the hero felt guilty was stupid, and nothing for him to feel guilty about. The heroine had some really definite ideas about how Alessandro should interact with his son, which got obnoxious at times. And as a side note...I am getting a huge kick out of the bald man on the cover of this book that has a hero with thick, rich “sable” hair, haha!
Niente. Disastro.
