The Cancer Council NSW maintains that Brain cancer is a leading cause of cancer death in young people and accounts for more than one third of cancer deaths in children aged under 10. About 57 children aged under-10 are diagnosed with brain cancer per year.

Join Rachel as she is taken by the Medikidz superheroes on a journey to Mediland to find out more about the cause of her crippling headaches – a brain tumour.

During her adventure, Rachel discovers that there are 100 different types of brain tumours. She also learns how brain tumours come about and how they are treated.

This graphic (cartoon) novel provides an easy to read and understand explanation of brain tumour that is one of the most misunderstood type of cancer.
