The format of these Insight Select Guides is really well suited to a first-time traveller. Only one or two places are discussed on each page, so you can quickly flip past if the title doesn't grab you. There are pictures on each full-colour page and just enough information to get a feel for the style and flavour of each inner-city suburb. It still leaves room for you to experience the city for yourself!

The Rome Select guide is a great pre-departure guide for travellers who want a little bit of background on the main attractions and some inspiration for exploring less publicised areas.
