This small book, published in December 1981, is really an entry-level consideration of depression, written by a practising psychotherapist, Myra Chave-Jones.
Publications since 1981 have made better contributions to 'coping with depression,' but this little book would be helpful as an overview of the condition. The limited Biblical support is helpful but has been greatly improved in later and other publications.
The take-away from my reading is her description of depression as "always winter and never Christmas", which is taken from CS Lewis' Narnia stories. How apt!
2-star at best and could be read in a single sitting if desired.
