History has finally caught up to this collection of scripts from the 1970s, which counters systemic racism with a call for revolution. The prescient "S-1" felt especially timely intent as it is on noting fascism's encroachment on democracy while "Slave Ship" reads like a scenario eagerly awaiting its resurrection by a black modern dance company. As for "The Motion of History," doing this Marxist multimedia piece full justice would require a budget I'm guessing no producer has yet acquired.
