Structural and Inertial Devices Print Pack

Rate this book
Structural and inertial devices, and specifically electromechanical devices at micro and nano scale, are considered in this pack. In common with conventional manufacturing, as typified by a factory production line, engineering on the micro scale involves cutting features out of solid material and building up features from added materials. In contrast to conventional methods, a different set of engineering tools and methods is needed. For instance, one striking difference is that in micro-scale manufacture, the very materials from which the devices are constructed are frequently made in situ. The implications of the use and manufacture of micro-scale devices are also considered. This pack contains Block 1 Structural and Inertial Devices, Block 1 Principles Wing and Block 1 Techniques Wing.
