He is rescued by Dr. Bertoff, who uses the lightning still surging through Parrish and creates a man with super powers – BLUE BOLT. As the title character in Blue Bolt Comics, the Electrically-powered hero enjoyed over a decade in the comic spotlight. He was know for a time as BLUE BOLT – THE AMERICAN and of course did his part to rid the world of the evil empires of World War Two. Created by comic legend Joe Simon, and with early stories featuring some of the earliest work of the amazing team of Simon and Kirby,this is comics history brought back to life. his is the largest collection of BLUE BOLT stories in print ever!

Although BLUE BOLT lost his place on the cover after a while, and his stories were later placed deeper in the book, his status as the flagship character and long-running success makes him the unquestioned star; so we're bringing you all the covers, whether Blue Bolt is featured on them or not.
