As someone who has little experience with ADHD, I found this book incredibly informative and enlightening. The author does an excellent job of explaining the condition and its impact on both the child and the family and offers a wealth of practical tips and strategies for managing symptoms and improving family dynamics. The writing is clear and the book is easy to follow and understand. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to better understand and support a child with ADHD.
Very insightful and accurate. For me, there were many take-aways that are actionable and I will be implementing. Reading it with your ADHD child in mind is a revealing experience that may unlock new ways to manage, encourage and develop your child. At times it was too much structured though and read like an essay instead of a book that gives tips for parents.
This book has really helped me to understand certain behaviors of my children and has taught me to be more patient and understanding about the stage they are going through.
Educational, lots of good ideas and strategies to help kids with ADHD. Was validating to acknowledge several things I’ve noticed in raising my own kids and comforting to know many of the things we already discovered are normal or effective strategies.
