'Mixed' by Priyanshu Sinha is a mind-boggling crime thriller that captivates the readers from the beginning itself. A story that leaves you shocked and surprised with every flipping page. To be honest, After a long-time I read something that actually gave me those spine-chilling vibes with it's dramatic turn-up of events and scenerio's.
It vividly covers the themes of horror, psychological and crime. In short, a complete mix of genres that brings a full-fledged package for us. The story is fast-paced with lots of things happening in fraction of seconds.
From police and public being scared by someone to thrill/killing going on in city. Everything makes it an interesting read. Moreover, in the beginning inculsion of haunting and mysterious quotes were truly brilliant.
Sinha's storytelling prowess is a testament to his narration skills that creates a sacred layer of conspiracy and unusual silence. With lucid writing and aot vocabulary, author invites the readers for a scarry adventure.
Overall "Mixed" is a short yet impactful story which, I really enjoyed reading over a cup of coffee. I recommend this book to those who loves reading psychological/crime thriller stories with a touch of horror.
