I went through a weather phase as a kid, and I'm sure this book would have been a hit with me. Basic info about clouds and the weather associated with them in an easy reader format.

Appropriate for a K-3 classroom on how clouds form and the different types of clouds. It tells about how each of the clouds can be identified and what they do. The word meteorologist is described and how they related to clouds. This book can used on a unit about weather and provides support for content instruction.

Very similar to Flowers, Clouds by Gail Saunders Smith goes through the different types of clouds and what conditions they bring. I would not use this book to introduce clouds or weather, but I would definitely make it available for students to look at and refer to.
