Out of Bounds was a good read. Another book in the Billy Beckett series with the usual cast of characters. Billy the Music and Entertainment Agent takes on two new clients…one a has been golfer and a popular musician. Billy cannot seem to get clients that do not have some sort of story and potential impact on the company. In this case the has been golfer has a gambling problem which finds him trouble. The musician himself is fine, however, there are mysterious issues surrounding him. Billy and the team try to keep the golfer out of trouble and work to save him, while trying to get answers behind the mystery with the musician.
Billy also has unfortunate issues within his own life…between being there for his ailing dad and keeping himself out of trouble that found him through one of his client. This book was well put together and I enjoyed reading it all the way through.
I was a little disappointed for a couple of reasons. First, there were quite a few grammatical/wording errors. And secondly, I felt like something was missing as the issue surrounding the musician came to an end. Overall, I can see giving this book four starts, however, I still gave it five stars because I enjoyed it and well as how it made me feel like I was a part of the Beckett family.
