A decent book that does a mediocre job of painting a picture of the many components involved in opening a coffeehouse or similar retail business. The book covers all the basics as if the reader knows relatively little about business. For someone interested in owning a business but have yet to really understand what that means and what is involved I recommend this book. For someone a little further along in the process, I'd check this out at a local library or scour it at Barnes and Noble for the general themes. Be sure to take a notepad to jot down various recommended resources that could easily be found through research online.
Ultimately, this wasn't what I was looking for. A little too general and removed from actual ownership, and very confining in terms of concept.
