As a child, I was obsessesed with medieval times and especially witches/witch burnings. I read the first two volumes in this series in Norwegian at the tender age of 7, having stolen them out of my father's comic book collection. They made a huge impression and I read them over and over for the rest of my childhood. No wonder I turned out a little weird... Having finally found them again, I now see that these are clearly not meant for children! But thay're still great. I wish I knew enough french to read the other three.

Leídos dos de los cinco tomos de la serie, a los personajes de esta historia les continua faltando algo de profundidad. Tampoco ayuda la fórmula recurrente de poner un nuevo villano fanatizado en cada episodio y que su derrota se convierta en un trámite, carente de emoción o épica alguna. Hay margen para que la trama se desembarace de los estereotipos y arranque con más fuerza en el próximo episodio; de lo contrario, la serie corre el peligro de quedar convertida en un ejercicio estéril del noveno arte a las puertas del siglo XXI.

Continuant sur la route de la France, Adso, Takuan et la mystérieuse enfant - sorcière qui se nomme Rébécca, ils arrivent dans une région dont le seigneur manipule les forces occultes. Les pouvoirs de la "sorcière" vont très vite retenir son attention.
