They are easy to follow rules that when you seriously decide to apply them to your life, will enable you to become the confident, beautiful, unique person that you really are. You are going to shine so brightly, others will be asking you for your secret. They will see such a change in you, this amazing new person that you will become, and all you have to do is follow these very simple rules. With this book you are going to learn to love and respect yourself, and you are going to spread that love and respect to everyone you meet.
Debbie Brewer grew up in Wokingham, Berkshire, in the UK, and after completing her degree in Linguistics and Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, she then trained at Charing Cross Hospital to become a Staff Nurse.
She settled in Maidenhead with her husband and she remained a staff nurse for twenty years while her two children were growing up. As well as working on ENT and Plastics, she later became a Specialist Dementia Care Nurse and trainer.
It was during this time that she developed her love of writing poetry, and her poem, 'Communication is Key' (Poetry Treasures, Volume One) was used by Preston University as a teaching tool for student nurses. Among others, the poem 'Bill and Joan' (Poetry Treasures, Volume Three) is also influenced by her nursing experience.
Then a few years ago, she decided on a complete change of career, and trained to become a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. During this time, she became a grade A instructor, Ordit trainer and Fleet trainer. She also became a member if the Institute of Advanced Motorists and achieved RoSPA Gold in driving. Hence, several of her books are about improving driving skills, and help for learner drivers. Her first driving book, 'Step by Step Guide to the Driving Test Manoeuvres' has recently been re-edited for the new driving test brought in by the DVSA in 2017, and her more recent book, 'What to expect on your Driving Test' describes the new driving test with great detail.
As well as running her own driving school, Debbie is also the business owner and director of Happiest Tomato Ltd., an online store which sells novelty gifts to bring a smile to everyone.
Clearly a naturally busy person, Debbie still finds time to travel and experience the world as much as possible.
In her own words: "In your imagination, anything can happen… anything at all. In fact, everything is possible. How exciting is that! So free your imagination and let it take you away to a wonderful world of your dreams. This is where creativity resides."
