The inspiration behind this book came from one of the author's favorite childhood treats, COTTON CANDY! It's dreamy and delicious and makes for the perfect element in storytelling. The Kid With Cotton Candy Hair by Brittney Bee tells the delightful story of a special little girl. She stands out because of her hair, which is made of cotton candy. If you ask her, this kind girl gladly gives you a sweet lock to taste because her hair grows back quickly overnight. One night she dreams that her hair does not grow back. How awful! At first, she is desperate, but then she decides to go out and do what she does best - help others. How will she feel when she wakes up, and how will we feel after finding out how her adventure ends?

The Kid With Cotton Candy Hair is a children's book with an empowering message for young readers and adults alike. Brittney Bee has written a story in which the young protagonist is a kind little girl who discovers that her way of making a difference in the world is to be loving and caring - indeed, a great story! There is much more here, though. Bee invites her readers to ask themselves what makes them happy and what they can accomplish. What value can each of us bring to the world? This book will help many children reflect on this essential concept and help them to lead more fulfilling lives. This is a fabulous book, and I am sure everyone who reads it will agree with me on the value of the message it conveys to our children (and us).
