Complemented by more than four hundred photographs and illustrations, this practical project handbook introduces fifty simple ideas to accent every room in the house, ranging from window treatments to decorative lampshades and colorful fabric accessories, accompanied by materials lists, preparation times, step-by-step instructions, pattern templates, and creative variations.
This isn’t a standout. First of all, the projects are fairly standard, especially the window treatments, which is why I checked it out. Secondly, the instructions are for specific dimensions of window, rather than teaching you to measure your own window and adjust for that size and measurement. The instructions are also confusing. I was not impressed.
