Very detailed book about engineers in WWII Europe down to battalions and companies. Did not realize how much bridging was conducted in Europe, mostly Bailey.

Key excerpts:
- The engineers established countermine schools in theaters... same as in OIF/OEF.
- The Germans recorded all minefields in minute detail and collected this information at the field army level.... A postwar engineer investigating board recommended the American imitation of the German system.
