Ignore the subtitle and you will find a much more enjoyable read. Because instead of it being stories of kids bonding through sports it was top athletes basically sharing their life lessons learned through parenting with a touch of sports analogy, etc... Lou Holtz's narrative was my favorite, but there were many other good ones too.
