I will have to come back and write a proper review on this masterpiece of work.. The amazing thing is the reason I understood what the author was talking about exactly to the T. Is because I personally experienced all the things he mentions literally and even more powerfully than the author portrays..

I experienced all at before I read one book about Kabbala. Which when I read it I was shocked as it showed how true it is since I experienced it already. At the same token in a way the author makes it sound as a hard job to do to gain a much worthy end. This maybe true for other people as for me t was easy not hard..

My Emmuna in Gd was pure new, and without a single doubt. To put it in prospective. I doubted that my hand was my hand more than what Gd said or promised. I guess I am trying to say doubt was Nill. And hence Gd engulfed my soul and life and it just brought me exceeding joy, and peace. I know I did not invent it, and reading this made it clearer.

I recommend this book to Christians in fact who think Judaism is more or less rigid and dead. I am sure if a Christian would read it, he/she would be shocked or in denial. Either way it will destroy any wrong preconceived notions about Judaism.

First time I read this book in 2005; then I was on the stage of exited newbie and was ready to swallow all the fantasies of "Rav" disregarding inconsistencies and incoherence of the book as a whole. Well, three and a half years passed and according to kabbalah it was the time to assess my progress of "attaining" in an unbiased manner and conclude that the "Rav" was not really a rav, and the idea that reading the cryptically written books somehow attract "Ohr Hozer", well, seemed rather strange.

So, how to rate this book now, eight years after the first contact with it, after I read it multiple times, in multiple languages and even listened to the free audio version on CDs that arrived with couple of my pseudo-kabbalistic book orders? Really, I can rate it only from my current point of view, from the standpoint of a former kabbalist. It is not even relevant, if the author is not really a rav, it does not matter. This is one of the books that lacks authenticity. I am trying not to be prejudiced towards the author, but if one reads the book without implied faith in the author, one easily can easily see it with sober eyes. But this faith is everything; with this rather blind non-critical belief one can easily give it all five stars, without it... well, at first I gave it one star, then (simply out of the respect to my own naive past) adjusted it to two. Because if you are looking between the lines for "Orh Hozer", "Ohr Makif" or some other incomprehensible "Ohr", the content of the book is not really relevant at all. At all! But some day it becomes apparent that without an implied "Ohr" this book with a loud promising title is just a raw collection of incoherent thoughts, awkwardly expressed and clumsy written.

Beautifully written insights into teachings of Kabbalah

Truly inspirational discussion of the teachings and path of Kabbalah. Take time reading this book, do not rush through it. Reading 5-10 pages a day helped me absorb the material.

Serious about spiritual discovery; read this book. I have read this book three times in the last seven years. At first, it was a difficult read- no surprise there because this book is not about how we perceive our world. On the contrary, it is a guide that takes you into the internal structure of a person's desires. You have to pause and introspect to digest the message. Once you begin to digest the message, you will learn how we are different from nature. You will learn what our internal consciousness is and how we should transmute our ego consciousness to attain the world beyond matter.
It is a great book to gain insight into the world beyond our five senses.
