Opera Manga! is a groundbreaking book that uses some of the best opera in the world to inspire manga literature. Breathtaking art and compelling stories make this volume an excellent entry point for those new to opera, while preserving the integrity of the works for enthusiasts and fans.
Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Depressing. That’s what this book is. Goodreads should create a negative review star just for this book. As a major fan of both manga and opera, I admit I had high hopes for this book. What I ended up with was a book so poorly made that you can’t even read it, literally. The text tends to run into the gutter so, if you actually manage to get over the shody illustration and print quality, you have to rip the spine to shreds to actually get to most of the words. I can’t believe Arcana let this book out into the world with their name on it. I don’t know if it was just my copy, or all of them, but the amount of print and binding errors on this book are so many and so bad that it seems like a joke someone pulled on purpose. The cover was cut incorrectly, so that the white of paper frames all the edges in an unequal frame that’s so bad it has to be a mistake. Then there’s the before mentioned total lack of reading potential due to the fact that half the text bubbles are half in the gutter and there’s no way to read them without tearing the book into individual pages. Add to that, the fact that a 4th of the book is made up of repeated pages, like they thought the book was too thin, so they decided to repeat a couple of the stories without paying attention to the page order. One might forgive all that if the content was at least half-way decent. That is not the case. The illustration style goes from bad to worse. I’ve seen better work done by 9th graders! And the opera’s are given a Hollywood, movie trailer edit that barely manages to tell the complete story in a coherent way. I usually dislike bad language, but… WTF!?!?!?
