Although this has some good suggestions, it's just not organized in a way that is accessible for me. It has a long narrative section for each suggested getaway that does not have bolded location titles, etc. so it is difficult to skim to see if a getaway might be interesting. It's organized by season, which is helpful to point out festivals etc., but what if I want to go to X town in fall (special event or not)and it's listed under spring? To Goodwill it goes.

Fantastic book for people living in the Washington D.C. area that want to travel on the weekend. All trips are within 250 miles of Washington D.C. so they are the perfect distance to get away but not too far from home. This book is divided into sections by season so that you can benefit from the best events of the season.
