School Discipline: Best Practices for Administrators
Principals are more likely to lose their jobs for failing to maintain discipline than for any other reason. This book gives school administrators the tools they need to balance the rights of individuals and society and to protect everyone's right to learn, and provides factual information on current practice and effective strategies on ways to improve school-wide discipline.

Provides good practical advice to school administrators, but is a bit out-of-date. Much more informative research has been published since the second edition was published in 2005. Lacks a discussion of the school-to-prison pipeline and the use of SROs.

Good, but I'm sure the laws and things have changed since this book was written.
