This book takes the teachings and wisdom of the 18th century Swedish mystic Emanuel Swedenborg and makes that knowledge fun and easy to understand. There are also numerous examples from Taoism, Buddhism, Mystic Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Sufism to enhance the spiritual concepts and ideas being made in the book.

Every chapter ends with a story that underscores the main thrust of that chapter. Chapter five ends with Aba Gayle's personal life journey to forgive the man that murderer her daughter. Please have a box of tissues ready when you read this chapter, it will forever change your life and your understanding of the power of forgiveness.

Chapter eight ends with the story of Mellen-Thomas Benedict's over an hour and half near death experience. His website is: www.Mellen-Thomas.com. His story of what he experienced for the over an hour and a half he was dead, before coming back into his body will amaze, comfort and blow you away.

This book was written with a lot humor and uses examples like a Cheech and Chong routine to explain what the average relationship with the ego looks like. Quotes Jimi Hendrix and Homer Simpson to make the book personal and easy to relate to for the 21st century reader.

This book is also available on CD. The website is www.PurpleV.com

My favorite quote so far:

"When you are happy, you are in the present moment, and you do not have a problem with it. ... Enlightened beings are in the present moment without a problem. So when we are happy we are practicing an enlightened state of mind."

ALSO:

"Worry never solved a problem."
