This sweet book offers a canine twist on the traditional poem. In this tale, instead of St. Nick, it’s St. Bernard who comes to bring joy to the other dogs. I also give this poem credit for addressing a serious problem: all the dogs in this tale are in pounds, and they are waiting to be loved. Here, St. Bernard brings in families to adopt them. This heartwarming tale is perfect for any dog lover.
