Really beautiful photographs accompanied by just the right amount of informative text.

I have had this book for years and wish that I had read it before visiting Ireland. I must admit, it was surreal to see so many places I've visited. I even recognized a tree in one of the photos.
This book focuses primarily on Ireland, which made it that much more enjoyable to me. Unlike some other books I have read, it provided a balanced blend of the Pagan and Christian history associated with each site. The photos were beautiful and there was just enough text to make it interesting/informative without being dry.
