Out of the Mount: 19 from New Play Project presents nineteen Mormon-themed plays from fourteen playwrights. Edited by Davey Morrison, himself a playwright, this collection includes work by such playwrights as veteran Eric Samuelsen, and award winners Melissa Leilani Larson and James Goldberg. New Play Project is a non-profit theater company that, in four years, has produced hundreds of new works with the help of several hundred volunteers. It has become an important part of the community of Mormon arts, and an important part of the Utah County theater community at large.

I usually don't enjoy reading plays like Shakespeare and other common play writers. This was more modern, narrative and relatable than Shakespeare in my opinion. It was different and very Mormon.
