Did a quick read for some teaching tips & tricks for the hubby who didn’t have time to read it himself. 🙃 Definitely got some good ideas to pass along so I’d say it was a successful read!

At first this text was like many other required read. The pictures in this book seem unnecessary but take up page space to make the reading appear to be less.

I was highly impressed towards the end of the book when the authors were very open of their opinions of standardized tests. Much appreciated honest opinions and not just regurgitated text talk.

haha so i'm back writing reviews because i want to digest things better and i want to express myself more (ig??). so basically i read this book for one of my grad classes and it didn't really do anything for me when it comes to broadening my knowledge. i feel like i always had a good understanding on how to develop readers when it came to the classroom arena and especially when it comes to getting them to engage. my grad classes are all focused on education and the instructional processes and strategies. who knows maybe i'll go back to school as a narp and get my masters in creative writing OR get my certificate in film arts writing... we'll see, won't we...
