Much better than the previous volume. This one is packed with action. It still has backstory in abundance, but this time they do it more creative than just regurgitate what happened in the last five books. They go about it with news interviews and live T.V. updates to clear up loose ends. Another thing about this series that I like is that a lot of main and fringe characters get killed. Both good and bad. Not just this book, but the others have a good body count.

Steele, the cyborg cop is after the senator who has dismantled the CIA and project download, the team that made him. He also finds that not only the senator, but others in power are corrupt and in bed with organized crime. He's out to put a stop to it before the feds, who have a seek and destroy order on him, can serve it.

Very good SiFi adventure series. Interesting main character. Good plot and a quick read. Recommended
