Lilly lives in a magical world. Animals grow as tall as trees in her backyard, her mother lives in a cloud, her best friend, Dorian, is delightfully like a monkey, and Lilly can disappear, sort of. This is a very entertaining story about a young lady whose father died near the time of her birth and a parrot with the ability to talk and reason like a human. Lilly and her parrot unite with others and fight to protect themselves from several people who plan to steal and sell endangered animals. They cleverly work against these forces.
