A juicy time travel where you will have intimate meetings with the lonely, enigmatic and romantic painters of The London School. This is a must have for any aspiring London Painter and an important anthology for anyone wanting to understand the idiosyncrasies and eclecticism of British Painting. A cherished accompaniment to my studio practise by an Author/Curator who is as visionary and empathetic as the painters he introduces you to in this gem of a book. One syllable: get.
