This book helped me plan our trip to Oregon. It includes different itineraries from a wine trip to a few days in Portland.

It also discusses unique opportunities like a Shakespeare Festival in Ashland or Portland’s renowned craft beer scene.

I found it helpful in exploring the Columbia River Gorge and learning about possible hiking trails.

It features sections on Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Mount Hood, and the Willamette Valley, to name a few.

The book also has detailed maps, color photos, and background information on the culture, landscape, climate, and wildlife.

I will bring it with us on our trip to look through as we go around Oregon.

A great and concise guide that anyone who travels should use as a reference. Well researched and organized for quick use while on the run, or for planning a trip. This covers the region where I live, and I have found it to be pretty accurate in describing the locations. Some of the pricing guides for lodging and restaurants are slightly off, but the way the economy / market changes makes accuracy tough in print.

Nice end chapters that describe the history of the region as well to make your visit educational, as well as enjoyable.

Great guide book, lots of detail, and it's even accurate. Have used it for a couple of trips to Oregon.
