I’ll see you next week.” *** Just then Courtney said, “I don’t business with you but I am going to serve Jesus ’til I die!” At this Thomas said, “Well, five hundred years of our exploitation and abuse will be a thousand.” *** Men and women quarrel because of jealousy but jealousy-inspiring behavior is the norm of the Western society. *** “Anyone having any just cause why this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony speak now or forever hold your peace!” Carrol stood up, cleared her throat, held up her head and said, “Me, Bishop, Mernel tell me in front of Lenkonius that she will not have any children for him…!” “Lenky! Did Mernel tell you in front of Carrol that she will not have your children? You are in a church now, Lenky; I would like to know.” Lenky said, “Yes.” Bishop stood there seemingly forever, wondering what to do. Carrol then walked out of the pew she was in, down the aisle, seemingly like an aggressive woman, her rump shaking beneath her white dress, onto the altar and wrenched the ring from Tom’s navel-high hand. To some she was caring, to some she was intelligent, to some she was loving, but Thomas knew of her envious cruelty.
