This was a decent look at a much-overlooked branch of the British Royal Family: the Kents. Beginning with a brief history of the Kent title, we launch into its modern incarnation. Prince George and Princess Marina are much the focus of this book, though their children, the present Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, and Prince Michael are well portrayed.

Though this is an older book, the information contained within is very interesting to read, even to a reader in 2021. Other than one or two factual errors, the thing that bothered me most here was the lack of source notes or bibliography. These are gospel when writing a biography, so their exclusion here is mystifying.

Recommended for those wanting to find out a bit more about the Kents from their beginnings up to about 1985, when the book was written.
