A bleak rural coming of age drama set in the South West.
The Bands are a dysfunctional family living on an isolated moorland farm, Tamsin, her brother Tom, her church going aunt , a taciturn uncle and her abusive father.
Tamsin's mother left years ago and the story concerns the tragedy that ensues when she reconnects with her and her mother's much younger boyfriend.
Of course dysfunctional families aren't easy to escape from..
Would have made a good drama for tv.
