Vieno vakaro skaitalas. Tiesą pasakius šiandien dienai Wikipedia puslapiai duoda prieigą prie kur kas platesnio aprašytų istorijų pasakojimo.

Knygoje pateikiamos 8 istorijos.

O ir Proto Pemzos podcast’as 100 kartų labiau įtraukia! Eikit ir paklausyti protingų vyrukų geriau! 🤟🏼

Not exactly an easy or light read for me, since Español (Spanish) is my second language, not my first. Written on the 3rd or 4th grade level, which makes me feel a bit more (poquito más) competent about my Spanish after reading this, like I have actually accomplished something cool.

If the book were in English, I probably wouldn’t have picked it up. But if I did, I would’ve skimmed through it in a day to a week without really thinking much about it beyond sheer entertainment value. Each of 8 different cases of encounters with “extraterrestrials” has neat illustrations (where photos were not “available”—how convenient!), & they spend 1-2 pages talking about the backstory of the case (how it happened, what happened), then another 1-2 pages talking about questions that came up as to the reliability of the witnesses & sources (Could this be a publicity stunt? A prank? Might any of what was seen be confused for something else? Could certain chemical substances &/or medical conditions cause any of the hallucinations?).

It was all very interesting & entertaining, & no book on UFOs (OVNIs: Objecto Volador No Identificado) would be complete without mentioning Roswell in 1947 (just like you can’t read a book on World War 2 without any mention of Adolf Hitler!). I wasn’t sure of the order of the stories (Alphabetically by location? By person’s name? By date? I didn’t get the order even by the end.). Sorry I kept setting this book aside & forgetting it for a while, but it felt good to finally finish!
