This is part of a series for beginning readers and averages about two short lines of text per page, accompanied by an almost full-page color picture. Designed for ages 4-7, and at a grade 1-2 reading level, this can be used with older children as examples when teaching grammar concepts. This book illustrates the meanings of those pesky homophones (toe / tow, aunt / ant, weight / wait, cent / scent, etc.)in a way your children will not easily forget. Adds a touch of humor to word study. Now out of print.

This is one of the BEST BOOKS EVER, and you know why? Let me tell you: because it's all words that sound the same but mean different things. Like pear and pair and a pair of pears! And wait and weight, so wait till you lose weight! And flower and flour, and hear and here, but you can't hear, because you got a banana in your ear! HA!
