Selena Kitt is a NEW YORK TIMES bestselling and award-winning author of erotic and romance fiction. She is one of the highest selling erotic writers in the business with over two million books sold!
Her writing embodies everything from the spicy to the scandalous, but watch out-this kitty also has sharp claws and her stories often include intriguing edges and twists that take readers to new, thought-provoking depths.
Her books EcoErotica (2009), The Real Mother Goose (2010) and Heidi and the Kaiser (2011) were all Epic Award Finalists. Her only gay male romance, Second Chance, won the Epic Award in Erotica in 2011. Her story, Connections, was one of the runners-up for the 2006 Rauxa Prize, given annually to an erotic short story of “exceptional literary quality.”
Not for the prude of soul, these remastered fairytales make for a nice story before bedtime--for adults only of course. Some are better than others, most are entertaining. Three stars for a good read.
Happily Ever After is a Erotica Anthology by various authors. The book shows Selena Kitt as the author, but Selena Kitt was the editor, not the writer.
EMET by Gabriel Daemon. Emet is a starving artist, who spends his life working on clay sculptures. He seems to have a hatred for unperfect women and he's not a very nice guy. His latest piece of art is a sculpture of his perfect woman. To complete the sculpture, he signs his name EMET instead of using his initials. When his sculpture comes to life and meets his every sexual fantasy, he speaks to his Rabbi for guidance. His lady love starts killing people and he's loving it. When she kills a local prostitute, the creepy man decides she's gone too far. She goes after him and he carves her name off of her ankle and she turns to clay. As a clay woman, she weights hundreds of pounds and falls on him, crushing him to death. Yes, he was killed by his perfect woman and it couldn't happen to a better creep. The story was interesting, but not original or very sexy. It had hot moments, but managed a 2.5 in the 1-5 hotness scale.
Red Smoke by Elise Hepner. Red Smoke is a Role Play, BDSM. The story is a young girl named 'red' who's running through the woods on the full moon to meet her wolf. The wolf takes control of her, spanks and ties her up. He continues with some light BDSM and then strokes and croons to her. He disappears into the night and she returns to her Grandma's home to dream of when she can be with her wolf again, during the next full moon. This story has potential, but the scenes weren't described in enough detail.
The Goose Girl by Giselle Renarde. The Goose Girl had potential. A young princess, raised by her two fathers, referred to as 'queens' in this story. Her marriage is arranged to a prince in a far away land. Her dowry is packed away along with her hand maiden, who's quite the masculine maid. While the princess is riding bareback on her talking horse, she gets turned on and asks her hand maiden to take care of it for her. The hand maiden declines and she strokes herself. The second time it happens, the hand maiden agrees to help and then threatens her and steals her identity. The hairy hand maiden is now the princess and marries the feminine prince. The handmaiden is given to a farmer who's son is having sex with the geese, yep, you read that right. She turns the goose boy away and has the wind blow away his penis and he spends his time trying to catch it. This is just ridiculous. In the end, the king takes the real princess as his bride. The king continues his ongoing relationship with the blacksmith and the princess continues her relationship with her hairy hand maiden. The prince finds love with the gooseboy and all is well. Distrubing and weird, but well.
Okay, I read all the stories in this anthology, but I didn't enjoy them.

I thought that this was a fun and lighthearted read. It was a trip through the looking glass so to speak. Fun, Frivolous and definitely Naughty it had me giggling throughout. As usual Ms. Kitt does not disappoint in bringing together a collection of varied stories.
It may not have been my normal or preferred style of material, but it was a fun break from the norm. I will never look at the traditional fairy tales the same way again. Rapunzel is a whole new person to me now! If you are looking for a fun and easy read then this is a trip that you should definitely take.
