This is a series of poems with refrains from the Song of Songs, which explore the meaning of Christmas. They range from the fantasy of a mermaid's view of the nativity, to the plain reality of the Christchild screaming to be changed. Yet they all reflect, each in its own way, on the mystery of Christmas. This mystery I pose.
