Enjoyable!!!

I've read all 7 books in the series so far and I really enjoy the laid back lifestyle that Jason has built for himself in Summer Shandy. I'll go back now and put a review out on the last 6 books.

Still the same lovable characters. This one felt just a tiny bit preachy

Excellent stress reducer when the world is in perpetual upheaval. It's a really nicely composed story, with a leading character who is good as gold. I only wish the cookbook had a bigger role :D. Or roll...The gentle family farming saga is a fine way to escape a bit. One negative...the introduction of animals (and in a big way) to be raised for slaughter, was really a downer, and a terrible example for Fern. It's hard to comprehend.

I really enjoy the whole series.

In the gritty, grey world of litrpg I love a wholesome tale that helps me balance out the rest. I come back to this one a lot. Thanks
