My favourite types of stories are Aussie ones, and you just can't go past an anthology that contains slice of life stories about dogs working on farms and stations all over the country. A good dog is worth two (or more!) humans and these tales are about the invaluable work they do and companionship they give to those who often live very isolated lives.

There is a very good chance that most of these stories are exaggerated, but who ever let the truth get in the way of a good yarn?

A lot of fun, plus it did bring the odd tear to my eye!
