Life - Be There at 10 'Til
Be accountable. Be responsible. Be on time. Or better yet, get there at ten Â’til. YouÂ’ll be all the wiser. From the tobacco fields of South Carolina to the red carpet premieres of Hollywood, lifeÂ’s most basic lessons of love, kindness, spirituality, selflessness, compassion, acceptance and wisdom are brought to life by the unassuming, colorful, poignant and humorous stories that narrate this journey of soul searching, character development and personal growth. Within the ordinary moments of day-to-day living, R. Dean Johnson has discovered both the exceptional and the extraordinary. Within the simplicity of lifeÂ’s most casual moments, he has found empowering perspective. And by internalizing the lessons heÂ’s learned each and every day, Johnson offers a down-home approach to accumulating a bountiful harvest of both wisdom and insight. Most peopleÂ’s lives are ultimately defined by the relationships they have with other people. But an intimate relationship with life itself is proposed as the ultimate relationship worth knowing. Life. Be There at 10 Â’Til . not only encourages the pursuit of this sometimes-elusive love affair, but welcomes the value gained during the courtship and dating rituals.

Reading people's stories helps one to know who they are. This is a fun read to learn about attitudes that help one grow. It is also a cautionary tale to Believers to remember that the church is a hospital and not a museum. One doesn't have to be clean to be part of the body, a person needs to have a desire to be cleaned by the Creator who loves them and has Grace sufficient for all. Be reminded to be gentle with the young. I also learned of new recipes such as a reference to Chicken Bog. Worth the read to learn more about others.
