Sr. Susan Helen is also part of the staff at the Pauline Books & Media Center in Dedham, Massachusetts.
Why does it bother me so much that Sr. Susan calls the saint, TheresA instead of Thérèse? I do not know, but it does. Maybe because she is Susan and not Suzanne or Susannah. I don't mind when people mess up my name (they do all the time, starting it with a 'K' or ending with an 'i') all the time, but I think you should get names right when you are writing an entire book about someone and in this case, a saint.
Aside from that it is a pretty good book for young adults about Little Thérèse. If you have a prayer you want to address to her, that is how she wanted you to call her, Little Thérèse, yet no matter what she says, I can't help thinking she was not little at all. She was a Spiritual Giant!
3.5 stars rounded up for the sake of Thérèse. I am hard on authors of books about Thérèse.
