Examples of some of the ideas inside:

- dig a hole and put logs inside to let them rot so they will attract insects and other creatures;
- accummulate a leaf litter pile to attract insects;
- plant tall grasses so animals can hide in it;
- plant certain types of plants to attract certain bees;
- make a bird feeder;
- make a bee house;
- how to attract wasps to nest in your garden;
- how to attract frogs;
- make a small pond to attract water-loving animals;
- etc.

Yes, there's a project inside on how to attract wasps onto your property. There were quite a few other questionable projects as well - this book tends to be quite extreme, thinking only of how to attract wildlife and not considering their effects on humans. Yes, wasps may be beneficial to the general ecology, but I wouldn't at all consider want to consider having a nest anywhere near me!!!
