There is still value in 28 year old books, and I think this is one of them. Maybe it isn't the best book I have ever read, but it doesn't meander around in circles like the Miller, or have I noticed blatantly dangerous dosage errors like in the Morgan. This book gets to the point, says what is needed and then moves forward.

I believe this sense of straightforwardness and not oggling over the newest toy is what makes this book still valuable despite its age. The Spanish translation was very well done, and I don't recall seeing major bloopers or typos. Quite impressive given the track record of this editorial.

Given I am exclusively reviewing the 1995 edition, I cannot state if this version of the book compares itself to the shiny newest English edition from the last 5 years. I do however know that 100 years could pass and this book would still be relevant. Well worth reading.
