I started reading the Project Gutenberg edition of this while on a two-hour flight. It reminds me a lot of Hardy Boys books I read when I was younger (that is, it's not the most spell-binding of books for your 49-year-old readers) -- as it was all I had on the plane, I soldiered on and am going to finish it.
