An amateur work and in need of editing, but enjoyable and engaging nonetheless. The first two thirds covers the author's early years in the marine corps through sniper training, with only a small section dedicated to the early months of the Iraq war. More could have been dedicated to sniper training and Iraq, I felt so much was skimmed over or left out. Nevertheless, I appreciated some of the anecdotes and personal insight from the author.
