When the demon you secretly love crumbles before your eyes, what else can you do but protect them with your entire being?
Sura has made it—she’s the new war chief of her demonic family, respected and surrounded by the demons she loves. But her family is in exile, their home captured by an enemy too strong even for the army she trains daily. And she can’t conquer the ghosts of the past that are haunting the male she’s secretly been in love with for centuries.
Yerle is trying to hold on, but the panic attacks have returned. It’s Sura who finds him, the one female he desperately wants to impress. All he wants is to surrender to her, to bask in her protection, but he can’t bear the pity in her eyes that will inevitably follow if he gives in to his instincts.
When they find themselves face to face with their enemies, there is no more space for the secrets between them.
This novella in the Hellfire series is best enjoyed after Wildfire, Book 1 in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone paranormal romance. Ella’s demons live in an ancient world filled with savage fights and passionate love, so make sure you’re ready for the heat!
Ella Moore is 80% hopeless romantic, 20% sarcastic, and 10% ignorant of math equations. Her paranormal romance books feature fierce demons, warrior angels, and one fallen angel with plans to conquer the world.
These powerful beings are filled with the kind of determination that changes the world. They love with heart, body, and soul. Just like the author, who can't stop writing their stories. When she's not working on the next book in the Hellfire series, Ella is binge-reading or hanging with friends who love books.
Where should I start, have you ever just felt peck-ish? Like you're not hungry nor do you have something specific in mind to eat but once you do, it's utterly full filling? That's how best I would describe Surrender, FULL-FILLING! It's sweet, loveable, heart aching and thrilling all at once. It's about friends becoming lovers without compromising the friendship and the role they play beyond the titles they hold as comrades. It's on the lighter side of FemDom but a sweet little femdom regardless.
Surrender is about Sura and Yerle who you should remember from Wildfire(Book 1). Ella touches a bit more on Yerle's past along with Sura's leadership skills and though it's a delightful read on its own and reading Wildfire isn't necessary, I still recommend you do. In the meantime, enjoy Surrender with a cool glass of juice or cup of tea/coffee and feed your mind to a gentle tale.
