Finally finished this double-book and confessing that I don't even remember the first story. It's a book that has been hanging around for awhile and I should have kept up with.

The second story, Rich Man for Dry Creek, is a feel-good fairytale romance with a bit of life lesson worked into it as the main character has to deal with anger toward a parent.

This is one of those "poolside" type books that you can simply enjoy, has some romance to it but doesn't cross certain lines and has some inspirational/religious content but not in an overbearing way for readers who may not actively practice a certain faith.

I am so enjoying Janet's writing style. She takes up in one book with different people where a situation was in the previous book. The same time and day but with other people in the next book. I'm not good at saying what I want but the thing is she is an excellent writer. It keeps your emotions on edge and hard to put the book down.
