This is an entertaining, but fairly formulaic time travel comic. The dialogue is simple and the story would be good for beginning readers.
I like that the author included a glossary, a couple of pages of information about the Ice Age, and suggestions for students and teachers for discussions, writing, and further research.
It's the first book I've seen in this series and I think it will appeal to young readers.
